Madison Valley + New Orleans

Residents of Madison Valley still have not received flood payments from the city, and it’s clear they’re pretty pissed off. This hand printed sign (“Welcome to Little New Orleans”) was duct-taped on top of the official City of Seattle sign near the stormwater drainage facility. Residents have long alleged that the city has not properly dealt with the chronic flooding of the neighborhood.
